And WHO IS Stephanie Long?
Stephanie Long is a classically trained pianist and singer. In 1990, Stephanie wrote the music for the children's musical "Chiro's Triumph", produced by the Majestic Theatre in Corvallis OR . That's when she caught the theater bug. Since then, Stephanie has appeared onstage, has worked backstage, and has played in the orchestra pit for many Willamette Valley shows.
In 1992, Stephanie wrote and performed a score for the play "On the Verge." Since then, she has written underscoring for "Jekyll and Hyde," "I Hate Hamlet," "Heaven Can Wait", "Red Scare on Sunset," "A Midsummer Night's Dream," "Proof", and "Copenhagen." Her next scoring project is "Pygmalion".
Stephanie has vocal directed a score of musicals, has written music for choirs, and currently writes music for and performs with The Free Range Chix, a quartet of women who perform original musical comedy.
